1.Complying with laws and regulations and
maintaining strong corporate ethics

• We shall practice the principles of this Compliance Charter with a profound awareness that compliance (meeting society’s expectations through observance of laws and regulations, internal rules, and corporate ethics) is a fundamental premise for achieving the FUSO GROUP’s Management Philosophy and business objectives.
• We shall act based on the awareness that compliance, rather than our internal customers and values, is necessary for
  the sustainable development of the FUSO GROUP.
• We shall comply with internal rules and take measures to prevent the occurrence of compliance violations and correct them as soon as possible based on the understanding that this Compliance Charter supersedes all internal rules and that the spirit of all internal rules is rooted in this Compliance Charter.

2.Building trust with stakeholders

• We shall act with the understanding that compliance-based actions are essential to building and maintaining the trust of stakeholders, and that a single violation of compliance can destroy in an instant a foundation of trust that has been built up over many years.
• We recognize that the trust and support of our stakeholders, including employees, society, customers, partners, local communities, and shareholders, is essential for the development of the FUSO GROUP, and we will treat each stakeholder with sincerity and build relationships that are in legal compliance and otherwise appropriate.

3.Respect for diversity and sustainability

• We will be tolerant and accepting of diversity in society and values, understand and respect international customs and cultures, recognize that the concept of compliance is in flux rather than constant, and cultivate a spirit of compliance that is in harmony with the current state of the world.
• We shall not only comply with environmental laws and regulations, but also express our support for domestic and international principles that aim to create a sustainable society, and shall respect these principles in our business decisions.
